Job Summary:
The Chief Medical Director (CMD) will lead and oversee all clinical and administrative aspects of the hospital or medical facility. This is a strategic leadership role, ensuring high-quality healthcare services, compliance with medical standards, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Responsibilities (CMD):
- Lead and manage all medical staff, ensuring adherence to hospital policies, medical protocols, and ethical standards.
- Develop and implement strategic medical programs to improve patient care and hospital performance.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with local and national health authorities.
- Oversee budgeting, resource allocation, and operational planning for clinical departments.
- Monitor and evaluate clinical performance, patient outcomes, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Represent the hospital in external medical, professional, and community engagements.
- Drive continuous medical education and professional development programs for staff.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Medical degree (MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent).
- Fellowship in family medicine or general practice is an advantage.
- Proven experience in hospital administration or leadership role.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, medical ethics, and hospital operations.
