Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Medical Doctor to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating patients, providing high-quality medical care, and supporting the overall health and well-being of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Examine patients and take detailed medical histories.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and treatment plans, including drugs when appropriate.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as blood tests, X-rays, and scans.
- Provide preventive healthcare advice and health education to patients.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatments when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Refer patients to specialists when advanced care is required.
- Collaborate with nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care.
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care when needed.
Requirements:
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- Valid practicing license from the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Completion of internship and NYSC.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of post-NYSC clinical experience.
- Experience working in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and medical ethics.
