About the Role
We have the opportunity within our Spreads (Siqalo Foods) Division for a QA Raw Material Technician role. The role is based in Boksburg and will report to the Inbound QA Coordinator. The QA Raw Material Technician will be responsible for assisting with the quality assurance service of the business in order to ensure that products produced by the company are fit for use by the consumers according to Company's specifications and standards.
Responsibilities
- Inbound: Analyses all raw materials for non-conformities against company's specifications and standards. Liaise with raw material suppliers and drive corrective actions. Submits detected non-conformities to the QA Manager, Planning and Buying in order to follow up with suppliers. Carries out Audits in the Warehouse and Dispensary to ensure that GMP is adhered to. Is responsible for processing material returns advice and supervises removal of poor-quality material from site. Drive raw material supplier approval with supply management. Ensures that all transactions are recorded on SAP daily. Ensure that all raw material suppliers are compliant with required QA certification/aud
